About RoadNest

RoadNest is an independent blog about campervans, van conversions, caravans and travel trailers, camping and road trips. Our goal is simple: practical, honest guides that help you plan, build and travel with confidence.

Why we started

Most van life content in English focuses on North America and Northern Europe. Travellers in the Mediterranean and the Middle East face different conditions: intense summer heat, steep mountain roads, fewer formal campsites and different vehicles on the market. We write with those realities in mind, while keeping our guides useful for readers anywhere.

Who writes RoadNest

RoadNest is written by a small team with hands-on experience designing and building van conversions, caravans and trailers in North Lebanon. RoadNest is built by the team at Lebanon Caravans, but this blog is editorially independent: articles are written to inform, not to sell.

Our editorial principles

  • Practical first. Every guide should help you make a decision or complete a task.
  • No invented numbers. We do not publish made-up statistics. When we mention prices, they are clearly labelled as illustrative ranges, because costs vary by country and year.
  • Safety matters. For gas, mains electricity and structural work, we recommend qualified professionals.
  • Corrections welcome. If you spot an error, please contact us and we will review it.

Advertising and affiliate links

RoadNest is free to read and may be supported by advertising (such as Google AdSense) and, in the future, affiliate links. Any affiliate links will be clearly disclosed. Advertising does not influence our editorial content.
